Monitoring soils to help inform decisions on habitat conservation management, Denbighshire, North Wales.

In this project Phoenix Ecology staff were involved in a detailed study of the range of soil chemical and physical characteristics present within a complex calcareous grassland SSSI in North Wales. Our results provided the landowners (National Trust) with a range of management options to help conserve the site's ecological interest together with suggestions for further restoration potential.
